I do a lot of scroll saw work, and inlay work requires a blade hole to start the inlay with. When the inlay is completed the hole sometimes shows up enough to fill and cover and hide, and these small blades make it much easier as they are small and easy to fill after the inlay is completed. They are used constantly but are very fragile so you have to be careful on any undo pressure on them. A great product.

I repair and sell vintage costume jewelry, especially those with many small pieces and tight tolerances. The wire gauge drill set has proven itself to be instrumental in helping me deal with extremely small pieces of metal work, working especially well in those tight spaces where a typical drill bit simply does not fit. The bits have stood up to some relatively heavy work for their size, having stayed straight and true despite having some heavy pressure applied to them at times.
One thing you must remember is to NOT put too much pressure on them: If you begin to feel any bending or any give of any sort, stop immediately as you WILL break these bits if you push them too far! This is not a negative, it simply is to be expected with such tiny gauge wires!

I have used the fine wire gauge drill set a couple of times to drill into plastic for a project I was working on. The fine drills go smaller than the 120pc drill index that I had, so they were exactly what I needed. The drills worked great. I was disappointed with the micro chuck, as tha amount of lash in the three jaws was such that I could not chuck the smaller bits into this chuck without a wobble, no matter how many times I tried. I finally gave up, and went straight to the factory chuck of my cordless DeWalt drill, which worked fine.

I received the drill set and they are satisfactory but the case is poorly marked (black letters on dark blue plastic).

I service residential gas and propane stoves and fireplaces. This is an excellent micro bit assortment at a very good price. I've already used it several times in my job.
