Having read previous reviews before ordering, I purchased double stick velcro which made installation a breeze. It took about 15 minutes. There's much less dust on the floor now.

I have a portable table saw that I use in my garage and I avoided using it because I hated cleaning up the mess that it made. Now there's just a little dust on the saw which I quickly vacuum up and I'm finished. The Dust Collector works great.

Well...This is one of those products that a one who is installing it has to get creative. I agree that the directions are a waste of paper and that it is just easier to eyeball the snaps and drill away. However. finding the center of the side you're working on gives you a good reference point for the other two snaps. The screws are a little tricky too. If you have a the correct tap, it may go easier as one of my screw threads flatened right out when I tried to screw it in to my pilot hole. Unlike most of the other reviews, my snaps were a Major Pain to get snapped in. I had to to use pliers to close them over the screw heads. I'm not sure what will happen once I take them off to clear the bag. As for the performance of the bag itself; it works great. I was really happy that the bag fit my Ryobi base and I'm pleased with it so far. I just wish installation would have been easier.

I installed the sawdust bag on my craftsman 10" saw and it's doing a very good job. I had trouble with the snaps holding on. I finally drilled a concave dome in a small block of wood using a half inch diameter drill bit. This matched the head on the snaps. I then snaped them on as best they would stay and placed the wood concave surface over the snaps and tapped them with a light hammer. The holding power of the snaps was improved a lot. I haven't had any come loose since.

I have a contractor table saw I use in different locations and the saw dust clean up was the worse part of every job, this collector bag is simple and easy to install in a few minutes and catches at a minumin 98% of the mess. This product is well worth the price and the installation time.

Here's my tips which echo the other reviews.
1) Forget the installation directions as the snaps vary in location vertically and horizontally
2) The snaps are not self tapping so you'll need to tap the holes or secure the screws with bolts
3) The snaps are very low quality so you may want to just get rid of them and try velcro
4) You can get fabric iron on velcro at a fabric store which will work just as well
After being very satisfied with all the other Rockler products I was surprise at the shoddy quality of this one. Once I got rid of the snaps and went the velcro route the bag worked well.
