Developed in sawmills and high-production factories, the Porter-Cable razor carbide saw blades give you the most advanced saw blade technology. Blades feature thin kerf C3 micrograin tungsten carbide tips to make cutting easier. Increased plate strength has more rigidity and less deflection. Laser-cut plate has tighter tolerances and more precision. Made from fully hardened and flattened steel plate. New anti-kick tooth design works as a raker tooth to help clean cut while preventing kickback. 10" 50 tooth blade smoothly cuts trim, molding, plastic and wood faster than conventional finishing blades. 7-1/4" 20 tooth razor blade cuts dimensional lumber, plywood and OSB faster and more cleanly than conventional framing blades.

1) Submitted by Dustin, from Lino Lakes, MN on 2/2/2009 Customer Rating: I purchased the 10x50 and am happy to report that all of Porter Cable's claims are dead-on accurate. The blade cuts fast and smooth, and tear out on oak veneer plywood (even the hinky home center stuff) is negligible. I didn't put much stock (no pun intended) in the "quieter running" claim made about this blade, but now that I have it, I think it's a huge plus. It really DOES run quieter, and I find that it increases my confidence when making cuts.

5) Submitted by Josh, from Colorado Springs, CO on 3/20/2007 I cannot compare this blade to premium blades, but it has done quite well in the old Unisaw. The quality of the construction appears to be quite high. Don't be put off by flashy marketing, at this price... at least give it a try. Oh, and it is rather quiet.
