This is a very nice knife made by Crown Tools of Sheffield, England. It feels good and stable in my hand. The knife is about 6" long. The 3/4" wide blade protrudes 2" from the 4" long handle which looks like Rosewood. The blade is ground for marking to the right side of a straight edge. I bought a second one on sale so I could grind a second bevel to make it suitable for marking on the left or right side of a straight edge. This should leave a 1 3/8" blade.

Using this has made a huge difference in the accuracy of my hand-cut work. The saw just drops right into the knife score without nibbling on either my knuckle or my nail! Definitely an improvement.
"I've used the Torrance, California store for 8-9 years now. Whenever (and I mean whenever) I talk with them or visit the store it's always a better than expected contact. These folks know how to keep a critical 66-year old happy.
THANKS ROCKLER !" -
