Worked great. Attached material 1 1/2" thick. Very easy to use. You must clamp your work while installing screws or the pices will shift. I highly recommend it.

I am so glad I got the complete set, it is well worth the small amount extra. After watching the video I was able to use it with great results. Anyone who builds cabinets or furniture really needs this tool and will use it all the time.

There is little about this system that can be improved on. I have cut down my biscuit use by 50% with this system. As with all systems it has its place and is not a complete replacement for dowels or biscuits. It's only draw back is that when you pull the pieces together it tends to offset the joints by about 1/32 inch because of the angle of the screws. If you clamp the parts together you will eliminate the offset.

One of the best birthday gifts I've ever received. Woodworking is a hobby and joining has always been a headache. Played with some scraps for about an hour and started to build. Everything I make can now be lighter and stronger.

Okay, I read the reviews on the Kreg K3 and was a bit skeptical. I'd never used a pocket hole system before, but was interested based on alleged simplicity and strength, still, things too good to be true.....
After receiving it and reviewing the 'getting started' pamphlet, I immediately used it on the front frame for a shop work bench with multiple drawers.
Well, fantastic gets overused, but it's totally appropriate in this case. Even the vacuum housing used to capture the shavings, which is usually as much gimmick as functional, worked like a champ with very few shavings escaping.
The K4, a more bare bones unit, is likely to be equally effective, but for a few dollars more, the K3 Master is a winner.
