Customer Rating:
This is a very solidly built and rugged edge guide that locks down solidly with the locking knobs and also has very smooth vernier adjustment that allows fine tuning of the fence position along the adjustment bar. The fence is long enough to allow smooth sliding along the edge of a board without any tendency to tilt. It also has mounting holes so that an auxiliary fence can be attached to it if it will be used to slide along a circular edge.

The overall length of the silver aluminum slide is 13 inches. Although I have not tried to use this device, it seems that by reversing the black edge guide/stop position on the rail an overall length of 18.25 inches can be achieved. In the picture this is the semi-triangular stop riding against the edge of the board.
After examination, the one flaw may be the height of the guide's vertical fence (at the base of the semi-triangular guide/stop riding against board edge). Against a curved edge this fence would probably slip. Using a metal ruler with two holes tapped into its surface and attached vertically with two screws would increase the height and avoid this problem.
Otherwise it seems well constructed and designed.
