Use these Forstner bits for drilling hinge cup holes with a drill press. Standard length. Industrial bit has a larger 1/2" shank with a flat edge for better grip in chucks.

1) Submitted by Bob Boyce, from san jose, CA on 5/18/2008 Iam shure the product is good BUTT! my rpoblem was I needed a bit for my Rockler jig. The photo on the web site above the bit led me believe I was ordering the correct bit, when I arrived at my job site I was very disapointed to see it was not. I dont recall how I arrived at those bits Butt you want to change the photo to a drill press not a jig. However your staff was helpfull in getting a new bit on the way asap.

2) Submitted by Bob Huffman, from Los Angeles, CA on 2/9/2008 Customer Rating: If you are buying this bit (like I did), thinking that it will fit inside it the Jig-it, you will be mistaken. Look for forstner bits with long shanks intead.
