This
ladder is a beautiful addition to any home or business. Rolling Ladders
are also used for wine cellars, home libraries, lofts,
stock rooms, kitchens, and closets. It endures the
rigors of industry yet has the grace and beauty of fine furniture.
Our standard ladder is made of the best grade red oak, which is filled and
varnished. Ladder steps are screwed to rails, not nailed, and rods are placed
under each step, for greater strength.
The standard ladder (red oak), is measured vertically to a track up to 8'
11'' from the floor. However, ladders can be made from other species and
various lengths upon request. In addition, you may order your ladder unfinished
or with a clear finish. Choose from black, polished
brass, antique brass, or chrome hardware
finish that may be further customized to achieve an antique,
satin, or brushed look. Select casters
from two classic styles. Each 4-1/2'' deep ladder step is dadoed and screwed
to the 13/16'' thick rails, then reinforced with a metal support rod for
an exceptionally strong assembly.
This finely
made set is available on a custom order basis. Custom ladder systems start
at $1,100.00. (Pricing

Walk thru
the top of this ladder into a loft or mezzanine. The top bent section
is normally 24" high, not any higher. For ordering, please provide
vertical measurement from floor to track. Available in other hard woods.
Ladders
are custom made to your specifications. Ordering length is based on the
vertical distance from your floor to the center of the track. For the standard
ladder 7" clearance above the track is necessary. (When the ladder
is pulled away from the wall it will extend into the room by 25% of its
length). Each ladder step is 4-1/2" deep, dadoed and screwed to the
13/16" thick rails, then re-inforced with a metal support for an exceptionally
strong assembly.
Ladder lengths longer than 8' 11" and made from wood other than red
oak are available. Choose from zinc, black,
brass and chrome finishes that may be
further customized to achieve an antique satin or brushed look. Bottom rollers
are available in two classic styles.
The standard
ladder is ordered by measuring the vertical distance from the floor
to the track. (You need to allow for another 7'' clearance above
the track for when the ladder is pushed in against your shelving.)

to conserve space. Each fixture is available in...

Top Fixture
The Roll
Slide Fixture is for a ladder permanently attached to a track.
The Hook
Slide top fixture is often used when the ladder needs to be removed and
used on another section of track.
We suggest
you align your track with a shelf, one or two shelves down from where
you have to reach. The standard ladder fixtures are zinc plated and the
steel track is aluminum painted unless otherwise specified.
You
will receive one track bracket for every 3 feet of track ordered, plus one
additional bracket. For example, a 9 foot length of track would include
4 brackets.
The ladder runs on a 7/8'' slotted track, which is fastened to shelving
by brackets mounted either in a vertical or horizontal position, or on the
top of shelving. The track can be bent for a 90 degree curve with a 30 inch
radius. Only inside curves are possible.
