I have used this product for many cradenzas and I am very happy with the results, however I have altered the use, instead of using the vinyl track that comes with I use just a table saw kerf, gives a nice streamline look, and resolves and issues with the dimension that the tracks lip causes. I suggest using a blade thats on the thinner side as a standard 1/8 blade will give a bit of play front to back, but the slides provide quiet easy action for any door within reason (weight).

I used this product as part of the sliding door bookcase featured in the September 2007 American Woodworker magazine. My end product, made of red oak, turned out beautiful.
Aside from having to shorten the doors by 1/16" to make them fit, I was very happy with the hardware. When you drill the mounting holes 13 mm from the edge you'll find that the top hardware fits nicely flush with the frames. However, the housing for the bottom hardware will protrude about 1.5 mm beyond the end of the frames which causes a bit of a problem for an already close-fitting design. I suggest you cut a test piece for a trial installation prior to drilling your actual doors. alternately, you could allow for the extra protrusion in your plans. A test fit-up is best.

This sliding door system looks to be an ideal solution for sliding larger doors on your furniture. I am using the system on a hunting locker that I am building to store clothes, boots, etc. The location of the locker is in tight quarters..preventing the use of a swinging door, making the sliding system a perfect solution.

Used on a bar w/locking doors. Works fine in 3/4" birch plywood doors. All metric which make routing the channel tricky without right size bits (ran a 1/4" bit thru and then added 3 layers of duct tape on router base and ran it thru again to get to 7mm). Both top and bottom pieces are adjustable making it very easy to operate doors smoothly. All plastic, including roller in bottom inserts so time will tell how long it lasts.

These are very cheaply made, in fact the set I received was missing a roller. I didn't trust them with the weight of the door.

I have used this product on a sliding door bookcase and also on a large display case. It is very easy to use and very forgiving. I also found that the bottom hardware caused a little protrusion in my test piece of wood. I allowed for this and everything fit the first time. The display case has 7 foot doors on it and they slide like a charm. I am also able to remove the doors very easy to clean the inside without having to reach around everything. I have used them in two times and I am planning another project that will make use of them for a third.
