I read the article in Woodsmith Vol 30/No 179 Simple jigs for perfect circles. Perfect jig does make perfect pattern which makes perfect parts. Within a hour of the jigs delivery by UPS I had finished a 32 inch wide trim ring with 24 inch center opening. I attached the patern to my material blank and went to the router table with a flush trim bit I followed the patern once around the outside and once around the inside. Presto Perfect part which can be duplicated any time needed. Wow I am happy to take the credit but it really started with this jig. Thanks.

Works pretty well but the screws were too long for the "standard" Sears router resulting in too loose a fit on the router. Instead of fussing with the screws, I mounted the device with my router plate still attached and used a couple of thick washers at the pivot so that Jasper body stayed parallel to the wood. Actually, this is a little more convenient since you don't have to keep unmounting and remounting the router plate.
