Epoxy coated shelf brackets look great and handle heavy loads. These brackets have no upturns, allowing shelves to extend beyond the end.These Epoxy coated shelf brackets are made of steel and use a twin track system to securely mount to the 14-gauge 1" W x 5/8" deep steel standards on the Twin-track system. Chip resistant epoxy finish.

This was a super product for...

This was a super product for my closet shelves, be sure to use stud finder and mount on wall stubs for added stability. I highly recommend this product for its entended useage. I also used 1x12 Cedar planks for shelf material and screwed to hole in bracket so they would not get knocked off.

I have a large collection of heavy cookbooks, which were on shelves fastened to the walls with drywall mollies, because of the weight, the drywall started to crack. I saw that Rockler had the double hole brackets that have a much cleaner look, and they are perfect for the job.
