Always
ensure there is a slight gap between bush and main body. Place a spot
of oil on bearing before each use. |

Sanding

Allow the sanding disc to run freely on the workpiece with the lathe running at a maximum of 1500 RPM |
| Keep sanding disc moving over workpiece with minimum pressure to reduce excessive heat build up. |

Do not allow the abrasive disc to become smooth as this will over-heat the workpiece and potential damage may occur. |
| When removing abrasive discs, place thumb over edge of pad to avoid damage to the sponge pad. |

By fitting a pigtail mandrel and cotton mop - these are optional extras- the Sandmaster becomes a handy buffing tool. Simply add wax or oil for a fine finish. |
