I have a router fence that is 4 inches high, I made myself for building frames. What is the maxium height this featherboard will ajust to?
koonass
on Jun 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The feather board has a 1-1/2" range of adjustment. Depending upon how high your T-slot is, and how much pressure you want against your work piece, will determine your usable height. Assuming the same pressure at any height, you will have a 1-1/2" range of adjustment. If you needed more range, you might consider using the other Rockler featherboard which gives you a 5" range of adjustment.

Does this fit on a dewalt table saw?
Howard C
on May 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Howard C,
The featherboard is very universal, however there needs to be t-slots or mounting holes wherever you plan to mount it. We used it on an Altendorf tablesaw and we drilled mounting holes into the fence in order to mount the featherboard.
Hope this helps.

Safety first.
At the router table of table saw these can keep your fingers away from bits and blades while firmly holding work pieces in a horizontal orientation.

Don't Wait
Hard to imagine how such a simple tool can make such a difference. Too cheap to shell out $15, I finally bought one on sale. Should have never waited, this is the way to go! The two-point lock down is so much more secure than my old 1x4 featherboards, which have finally been retired.

Nothing wrong with this product but I only gave it 4 stars because it won't work on my saw (a Ridgid 3660) the t-track on the fence is to low to use this and the supplied T bolts are too large. I'm not disappointed that I bought the featherboard as I'm sure I will come up with a different use for it eventually and the sale price makes it a good deal.

It did not fit my Bosch...
It did not fit my Bosch table saw rip fence which had a different slot size and the slot was too low. I made a higher sacrificial board and attached it to the front of my rip fence and drilled holes in the board top to mount the rip fence featerboard. It works great now. I purchased the T-rail and plan to dado a groove into the board and attach the T-rail so I can slide the featherboard anywhere along the rip fence I want (in feed or outfeed).

Nicely made piece, but won't fit...
Nicely made piece, but won't fit my cheapo Ryobi table saw fence. It's obviously made for a real saw. I'll have to fab some type of adapter (or buy a new Jet tablesaw). The T-slot bolts are too high and big to fit the slots on my fence. It's quality seems as nice as the table featherboard I bought, so I expect it to hold up well once I figure out how to mount it.
