Easy to apply, just heat on with an iron. I used a razor knife to trim by placing the taped edge down and using the shelf edge as a guide.

In a non-standard application, I used the iron on edging as body and neck binding on the guitar I am making. Both white and black edging handle nicely. Trimming to width is simple to accomplish using straight edge, hobby knife and scissors. The material follows both inside and outside curves easily although the black is somewhat thicker, stiffer and more brittle than the white, requiring more careful handling. Installation is a breeze using a 40-plus-year-old "Monokote" iron from my model airplane building days. The only recommendation for improvement I can offer is to suggest that the adhesive be tinted to match the edging color which would. The currently use clear adhesive works well enough, but I believe same-color glue would result in a neater finished project - hence my four out of five rating.
