I like the easy to find color. I've checked this gauge against a known thickness the accuracy is perfect. Very hard to beat for the price.

This tool has really simplified planing and jointing for me. It's quicker and simpler to use than other methods and its accurate. The only thing I would change would be to add a finer point and/or more visible scale markings.

I used it once to measure thickness of board, it didn't have ruling at that thickness. I have to use my machinist dial calipers. It's in a draw at this time.

Never really realized how much I missed this tool until I got it. It makes turning, planing and selecting material by thicknesses so much quicker and easier. I like its light weight and handiness, not to mention the blue color that makes it stand out among my other hand tools.
