Customer Rating:
For the price, this is a good unit. The table and disc are cast iron and the unit is heavy (for the size) and pretty solid. I had an unacceptable level of run-out on the cast iron disc (0.035") that I was concerned about with the machine right out of the box. Instead of immediatly sending it back, I took the disc off the motor spindle and found that the mating surface had an uneven coat of paint on it, By simply cleaning off the mating surface, I was able to reduce the run-out to about 0.010", not perfect, but much beter. The unit holds adjustments for parallelism well. It is great for relatively small projects, but don't expect it to do the work of a 20" 3 HP Powermatic!
