align holes for hinge mounting plates. Hinge cup bits sold separately.

fully concealed hinges. The Concealed Hinge JIG IT®
System is ideal for drilling individual hinge cup holes. To
drill the mounting plate holes, use our Mounting Plate JIG
IT® template to accurately positions holes for mounting

The Concealed Hinge JIG IT® System Drills concealed hinge
cup holes individually. Perfect for smaller jobs where accuracy is needed,
but set up is not a concern.
Package includes an alignment plate, bit guide, spring, stop collar
and clamp. Drill bits and mounting plate JIG IT templates sold
separately.
Choose from (4) Long Shank Carbide Hinge Cup Forstner
Bits (91841, 10117, 10104, 20563) to drill holes
for the hinge cup as illustrated to the left.

priced Master Pack for drilling two cup holes per door! Additional
Concealed hinge JIG IT® Alignment Plates (31091) can be added for doors
requiring three or more hinges. The Master Pack includes a 30'' rail, two
alignment plates, one bit guide, and a stop block for positioning the jig on
a door. Choose the appropriate drill bit. Mounting plate JIG IT® templates
are also available for specific hinges, and can be used on the 30'' rail for

This jig makes drilling cup holes easy. I would recommend getting the multi rail jig. It will make life easier. The only I don't like about this is the location of the center marks. However it is easy to transfer the center mark to the wood block on jig.

Purchased hinge JIG IT template for re-drilling holes for concealed hinges that cabinetry contractor's personnel had incorrectly drilled for custom-made cabinet doors. Wanted to use drill ass'y from Rockler's Shelving JIG IT to install new 5mm holes need for hinge screws. Holes in hinge template for drill guide were not correct size, so redrilled for 3/8" dia. Template then worked perfectly for redrilling hinge screw holes in cabinet frames for six(6)cabinet doors, all lined up in a row. If you have to install holes for "shelf pins" for a shelving project, the Shelving JIG IT drill guide and plexi-template are a great tool that yeild excellent results.

Easy set up, works great. The forstner bit required much more down force than anticipated but using the jig set up on the drill press solved that problem. The whole concealed hinge installation was quick and easy and the hinges themselves were first class.

Works great! Positions the cup hole right where you need it. Then used the hinge along with a center punch to mark screw holes. This jig will give you square holes. You just need to be sure that you have the big round plastic part down on the lip of the black metal placement guide. Significant downward force is need for the forstner bit, that could be improved but not a big deal. I've used this for at least three hing types so far and is a breeze do set up and use.

The Jig It is an excellent tool. This was my first attempt at using concealed hinges and I found the jig was very accurate and easy to use. One note, if you are going to mount hinges in oak or any other hard wood, make sure to get the carbide bit. The jig did a very professional job, for a reasonable price.
