Keep your bits comfortably stored in a nice, soft bed of foam. Foam is pre-cut
to hold any size router bit shank. The 12'' x 12'' x 13/4''
bed holds up to 100 bits, depending on sizes stored.
What's more, the soft
foam means that the risk of cutting your hands when placing and removing bits
is significantly reduced. Can be cut to size to accommodate storage cabinets
or drawers, or can stand alone.

Safety Tips:
It's easy to prevent mishaps if you take a few simple precautions.
1) Rockler recommends using 1/2'' shank router bits whenever possible.
1/2'' shanks provide better stability with less vibration to produce a smoother
cut and longer cutter life. 2) Make multiple light passes rather than one heavy cut. 3) Install your router bit so that 90% of the shank is inside the
collet. Here's a rule of thumb: fully insert the bit, then pull it back
1/16 to 1/8 of an inch. 4) Use a router table whenever possible. 5) When using large diameter bits, reduce the RPM of your router.
Then test your set-up on scrap lumber. 6) Always follow your router manufacturer's recommendations.

This was a excellent solution for the router bits that were loose in a drawer. It was easy to cut into the best size, held the router bits securely, and they bits wer easy to find. I had not been able to find anything similar anywhere else.

This foam will do what it advertises, but was not what I expected. Somewhere I've seen a similar product, but made from a relatively dense foam that had holes for the bit shanks. This foam is low or medium density and has simple "X" slits for the bit shanks. I could have accomplished this same thing with leftover seat cushion foam and my utility knife, and for significantly less than $12. At least the grey color will look better in my router cabinet drawer than the green or white leftover seat cushion foam!

Just what I was looking for. Easily cut to fit my new storage compartment. And best of all now all of my router bits are located in one place. It has been quite an adventure in the past looking through the numerous different places my router bits had to be stored. Simple. Easy. Convenient.

I recently purchased these to fit in the drawers of my newly constructed router table. After cutting them to size, they work perfectly! I was able to free up the wall space that was previously used by my router bit storage cabinets. Additionally, the cabinets I had would not hold all of my bits due to their size. Now, all of my router bits are stored in the same place and are organized by size and type. Couldn't have asked for a better solution to my router bit storage problems.
