Yes, the drawer raises and pulls past a stop to drop out of the slide when fully extended. It can be used with a 19" drawer you will just lose 1" on the back of the over travel distance.

I am installing these for a trash can carriage. The opening is 21 3/8" W and the tray is 20" W. Based on the specs it should fit with 1/8" to spare. It is in and slides, but bumps and binds mainly at the extension transitions. I have played with the alignment but can't seem to get it. I am going to check to make sure they are perpendicular to the front and parallel. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks for the advise. I did some more inspection and discovered I had used the wrong screws. The larger round heads scrape on the wheels and assembly. I replaced them with counter sunk flat head #8 wood screws. This made a big difference. I then put extra effort in to make sure it was parallel and square. Now it works great.

BEST ANSWER: It should be able to go that width without a problem. I would expect that you would have to add support ribs on the bottom, to keep the drawer base from sagging.

Can this be used for a tall (about 5') x 12" wide pantry cabinet? If not, can you recommend the right slides? On the existing very old slides, the pantry cab wobbles side to side.

Thanks Rick. I'd actually checked that before. But assuming the cab weighs less than that, would the slides be stable enough to handle that height with the narrow width? And if not, what slides would you recommend? Thanks.

I would use at least a 100 pound slide. Being that this cabinet is 5' tall you might want to lay one flat
on the top as well for support. It is very hard to explain this but if you look at item #1001870 on our
web site I am sure you will get the idea of how I would make this.

Pull out drawer slide
Slides work great, however the release is not well engineered - very difficult to remove drawers after installed.
Also overpriced for a drawer slide.

Floor mounted drawer slide
Pretty easy to install, works well, quick delivery. The direction to locate the screw hole "just inside" the drawer line could have been clearer/more precise. I used my best judgment, and it fit just fine.

Works very efficiently
Am building wall to wall, floor to ceiling bookshelves. Lower unit will have doors that conceal a pull our shelf for a milk carton filing unit. These were easy to install and work very well. When doors are installed, they will open and the milk carton shelf will glide effortlessly out.

Before the door installation.

It is probably not designed for what I am using it for... a taller pantry like drawer, rather than a shallow drawer, but it works okay. The only issue I see is then it is pulled all the way out, the front of the drawer drops way down; far out of level. Again, I might be misusing it slightly. I will be very close to the maximum weight rating.

took a chance and it worked as i had hoped
seemed expensive for simple slides...however it was the only one that seemed like it would work for what i was creating. A pull out drawer for my ice maker in my bar.
They arrived quickly and were well made and seemed heavy duty. A few hours later my creation was complete and they are doing great! Very smooth moving and sturdy. Glad i took the chance.

Making Things Easy
When we received our new computer desk, the top had a broken corner and were sent a new one. For weeks the broken top was leaning up against the wall nest to the computer. Then my youngest son came for a visit and said,"Hey, that old top would make a great slide-out shelf for the printer." My oldest son picked out your hardware out, it arrived quickly and now we have a pull out printer shelf! Thank You!

Slides Work Excellent for Lower Cabinets
These floor-mounted drawer slides are an excellent solution when one needs easy access to a lower cabinet drawer. One has been installed in an RV lower cabinet that had difficult access. A custom made drawer with the floor-mount slides was a perfect solution. The slides provided just enough clearance over the bottom cabinet rail.

Installed well. the angle steel base support could return further past the trail to give added support for heavier pots and pans. Newer cabinets often have 1/4" floors and they are very weak, screws will not hold the fully extended unit very well. I pulled the cabinet and added a 1x4 support to screw into. Otherwise the system worked well.

Floor mount pull out slides
I built a roll out pots and pan cabinet to fit in a kitchen cabinet it worked well. One problem I had was the poor instructions that came with it. Missing was the mention of the amount of space need for the roll out slides.2 inches from the depth of cabinet was fine but I over built the width and had to cut the box after it was completed. It was 1/12 to wide because of the slides. CB

Product is excellent: smooth operation, good looking, went in and worked first time and I have never done this before. However, the instruction sheet was all but useless to a first timer. Would love to see a rewrite there for more understandable info on layout dimensions and planning. Also, was shorted one screw to attach the slide to the drawer. Note also that I have just ordered a second set for another drawer install.

The installation went OK. I was missing 1/4 of the hardware so I had to make do. The instructions would have been more helpful if they told you the correct spacing from the side of the drawer to the center of the mounting hole. It was a little tricky trying to hold the hardware against the sides of the drawer while measuring the center-to-center on the mounting holes.I will give the product 5 stars as it is the only one I have ever seen that allows mounting to the shelf in a lower kitchen cabinet (with face frame) without having to jury rig a mounting bracket.
