This is a wonderful tool. Apparently the folks who used this - had no understanding of a back saw - which cuts on the back stroke. Why they complained about its buckling - is beyond my comprehension. Also - they apparently do not understand that a flush cut saw needs a flexible blade - (invaluable) - and - that the teeth cannot be offset. In my experience - Crown Tools never disappoint - but - only if - you know how to use them.

I used this saw to flush cut through tenons made of walnut. The saw buckled and bent after only a few cuts, and is now completely useless. I plan to return it to Rockler.

Good looking saw, but unfortunately it does not cut well at all. Teeth were not especially sharp and there was a lot of friction while cutting oak dowel pin flush. The blade wandered and finally buckled.

Assets: Pretty to look at.Debits: Bladed is flimsy and very easy to buckle. It just doesn't cut very well.
