Use clips but buy your own screws elsewhere

I used these to secure glass into my new cabinet doors. They work great but the screws supplied are garbage. Heads shear right off and you end up moving clip over 1/2" and drilling a new hole. Since the screw is buried in the wood. Other reviewers were correct about this, but I tried to use them anyway and the 4th one sheared off so I got better quality screws elsewhere and completed the job.

I was looking for some way to secure a mirror into the door frame of my new bathroom medicine cabinet. I checked all over Ottawa and could not find anything.I decided to check Rockler because they have had items before that I could not find anywhere else and to my surprise they had these.Exactly what I was looking for.They work exactly as advertised and hold the mirror gently but securely.I bought extras for all my future products.Rockler comes through again!

These retainers work really well. On previous projects I have made my own retaining clips from stock trim, a tedious process. On this project I used the retainers, they adjust easily and hold the glass firmly, important when the clock stikes, the last thing you need is vibrating glass.

Product worked exactly as expected. I found that these clips worked equally well for either glass or wood panels. Package comes with 2 different size rubber pads and the clip can be reversed for more flexibility depending upon depth of inset. Cannot find clips like these in any local store. Very pleased. I needed to secure the mirror in the back of a new china hutch that we bought. I couldn't find what I needed until I went to the Rockler website. The retainer clips were exactly what I needed and they worked very well. I could change the pads or invert the clips to exert just the right amount of holding pressure.
