This workbench is solid maple and very heavy. As an afterthought, I decided to add the levelers after reading the reviews. It was built for my son-in-law, and I wasn't sure how level his basement floor was. Glad I did! The floor had almost a one inch drop from one end of the bench to the other. The levelers worked great and now he has a perfectly level bench. I would definitely recommend this product.
