This is the first tenon cutter...

Todd S from Boise, ID Posted February 22, 2012
This is the first tenon cutter I have purchased and used. This tool was very easy to set up and use. With a couple of test pieces, I had the cutter making perfect 2" tenons. I'm going to try and remove one of the blades as another coment advised and see if it gets any better. Thank you.

My family and I have been...

Jeffrey H from Curwensville, PA Posted February 8, 2011
My family and I have been working on building a log cabin for the last 7 years. We cut the trees and did it the old fashioned way, except we have used modern tools. We are going to use the tennon cutter to make railings and furnature for the cabin. I was very pleased whe I used the cutter. It cuts quickly and supprisingly easy. I will probably buy some other sizes as we need them.

The double cutters create a lot...

The double cutters create a lot of chatter, especially if they're not set exactly right! rather than cutting twice as fast as claimed it just makes it harder to use. I would advise removing one of the cutters before use, which will enable you to make a nice, smooth cut, and you'll have a spare blade so you can cut twice as much before needing to resharpen.
