Harvested from the forests of Guatemala, Hormigo wood is often used in the construction of musical instruments such as the marimba. The main color of the wood is a warm reddish-orange with grain patterns varying from banding to curly flame accents. A beautiful, dense wood to turn with sharp tools to produce the best results. Blanks are approx. 24"L x 1-1/2" square.
