Making Dust Free Tape Storage from Used DVD and CD Spindles

A used CD or DVD spindle can make a nice storage solution for all your rolls of shop tape. A used CD or DVD spindle can make a nice storage solution for all your rolls of shop tape.

If you buy blank CDs or DVDs in bulk, don’t throw away those empty plastic spindle towers. They’re the perfect size for storing all sorts of shop tape so it stays clean and ready for use. Keep this storage box on your bench, or drive a couple of screws through the top cover to mount it under a cabinet.

I have purchased, in the past, plastic guides to hold music CD's in that I attached to a wooden cabinet. These strips were bought at your store in Ontario, Calif. who now only have the ones for the movie DVDs. Can I still purchase the music CD strips that I purchased previously? If so, how do I order them?
