The Paint Brush Cleaning and Storage Container (item number 40570) is meant to do just that. The one-brush container has a suspension spot in its snap-on lid for the brush; after the brush is inserted, the container filled with water or mineral spirits, and the lid placed, the brush remains suspended in the liquid — which can be reused — preventing the bristles from curling or drying out. Left overnight or longer, the brush is ready for reuse after a quick rinse. As of 2011, the Brush Cleaning and Storage Container sells for $7.99.
