Gladiator Premier Gear Box with maple countertop Gladiator's Premier Gear Boxes are designed to be mobile storage and workspace units, with an optional maple countertop.

In your shop, are you always looking for cool new storage solutions? If so, Gladiator® GarageWorks wants you to consider their new GearBoxes. This subsidiary of Whirlpool Corporation (yes, they do make a refrigerator for your garage, too) has an entire system of “GearBox” tool storage in a variety of sizes. Each GearBox top is a usable work surface in itself — in the case of the Premier model shown, 26.6" x 24" of a cushioned heavy-gauge mat — or you can purchase an optional maple top to create a workbench out of them. The heavy-duty GearBox casters are 5" x 2", with a single-step lock for the front casters (for when you want the GearBox to stay put) and swivels on the back casters (for when you want to move it around). Whether moving or staying, the 34.5" x 28" x 25" welded steel cabinet can hold up to 1,400 pounds of your tools: 65 pounds on each shelf (including an adjustable shelf). There’s a sturdy lock, too. The GAGB272DRG Premier Modular GearBox has a 2009 suggested price of $449.
