Starrett’s Dual Cut jigsaw blades uniquely feature teeth that cut in both directions, allowing them to eliminate burrs in any type of wood.
As for jigsaw blades, L.S. Starrett Company recently introduced Dual Cut, the first jigsaw blade with teeth that cut in both directions to eliminate burrs from both sides of the cut. The Unified Shank® blades fit all jigsaw shanks and cut both soft and hardwoods. The larger BU3DC, priced in 2009 at $6.10, is for straight and curved cuts in material between 1/4″ and 1-1⁄8″, and the smaller BU2DCS, $5.90, is for cutouts, contours and other complex cuts in material between 5/32″ and 3/4″.
