Morris Wood Tool Company Forstner Bit These no-spur Forstner bits from Morris Wood create round, flat bottomed cuts in pieces between 1/4" to 3" depending on the bit.

Routerbits.com is now selling Forstner bits made by the Morris Wood Tool Company. These made-in-the U.S.A. bits are traditionally designed carbon steel, but with no center spur. This creates a flat-bottomed boring. Cutting diameters range from 1/4" to 3", with prices from $28.45 to $121.69 as of 2008.
