To make dust collection on most modern scroll saws easier, it turns out the air pump hose from a fishtank makes a perfect connection with the dust vent.
The air pump on my scroll saw just didn’t keep the sawdust clear, so here’s my easy fix: I took an aquarium pump and attached its hose to the saw’s adjustable air nozzle. Voilà! Clean cutting.
