Sanding may not be as much fun as routing, but it’s a shop necessity — and if you can make your sanding area into a project, so much the better. Rockler is now selling Downdraft Table Panels that will assist in this endeavor: the 6-3⁄4″ x 16-1⁄2″ solid steel panels have non-slip rubber grommets and removable stops to keep your work from sliding while you’re sanding, with air holes to assist in controlling the dust your sander kicks up.
