Skil’s RAS800 and RAS900 router tables are designed for small shops and portability, with fold-in legs, while maintaining big shop usefulness.
Are you ready to rout? If you’re working in the kind of shop that sometimes has a car in it — or where you need to put even your big power tools away when you’re done — Skil has designed some new router tables meant for easy storage, setup and portability. Both the RAS800 and the RAS900 come pre-assembled with an integrated accessory storage bag and a laminated MDF top. The self-contained structure provides storage for necessary parts like the fence and router bits. Included with the RAS800 are a guard, featherboard, miter gauge and bit inserts; the RAS900 comes with all that plus a tall fence with adjustable laminated MDF faces; dual featherboards, a starter pin and guard for support when routing curved workpieces; a bit height gauge for easier bit setup and cutting precision, and additional accessory storage compartments. The RAS900 has a quick-release router mount that attaches and detaches in seconds. As of 2009, the suggested price on the RAS800 is $99.99; on the RAS900, it’s $150.
