The new Light Mine Professional from STRIKER® is eight times brighter than the company’s previous task light, includes a signal beacon and red night vision light — and lasts four times longer. Potential shop uses for the light include attaching to tools such as your drill press with one of the 11 neodymium (rare earth) magnets at the end of each protruding post, or securing it to a lanyard and using those same magnets to pick up screws and other metal fasteners. The posts on the Light Mine Professional can also function as tripods or quad-pods for creating a 360° freestanding light. Powered by three AAA batteries (included in the original purchase), the Light Mine Professional had a suggested retail price of $19.99 in 2011.
