Very useful tool.

I bought this digital protractor to see if it would work to check my angles on my turning tools when I sharpen them on my grinder. It works GREAT!! It is very easy to use and I am sure I will find many more uses for this tool.

I was concerned when the product description said accurate +/-0.2 degrees. I used it today to set up a homemade miter sled for the tablesaw. I cut dead on 45 and 22.5 degree miters for a flag/certificate display case. Four miters with no gap, perfectly square, best I've ever done. Would not hesitate to buy this again if need be.

I picked this unit up almost a year ago and find that I use it more than I ever expected... It's dead spot on as far as accuracy, easy to use, has a 'zero' button so it can be reset to cover most any project. The only draw-back that I have noticed is that it does eat up batteries faster than I expected. I made a habit of turning it off after each use although it automatically turns itself off after a few minutes of no use, and even then the battery only lasted about 6 months. Mine did come with a spare battery, and that was welcomed. Overall, a great product, a very good price when on sale for $20 or less and I would not hesitate to recommend this angle protractor to anyone that has a need for it.
