Excellent machining. Pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful quality engineering. Solid construction. Smooth lift and lift-lock operation. Even the thread tension on the lift is adjustable. Magnetic inserts of several sizes with their own leveling screws.

This does fit the Bench Dog ProMax table saw router table extension!

I bought it to use with my Bench Dog Tools 40-102 ProMax Cast Iron Router Table Extension. I was expecting to have to do some modifying to make the lift fit because the description SPECIFICALLY states that it does not fit the router table extension, but to my surprise the lift dropped right in. All I had to do was clamp in my router and I was done.

Speaking of routers, the description only lists a few of the compatible routers. There are more routers which will fit. I have a Milwaukee 5625-20 and it fits perfectly once I adjusted the clamps to the proper hole location.

This works with BenchDog Cast Iron Table

I was quite confused when reading the description when it says this will not fit the BenchDog cast iron pro max router table. It does fit with very very minor adjustments to the router table. Here are two ways to make it fit that take less than 5 minutes.

A) Remove the snug bars on the underside of the lift, (you do not need these for the BenchDog table due to having screws to hold it down) and it will fit just fine.

B) (My first choice) On the right side of the opening for the lift, the same side where the snug bar is located, take a hand file or sand paper or Dremmel, and remove about 1/16"of the lip holding the leveling screw and it will drop right in. The removal of this much material is very minimal and takes hardly any time. I used a hand file.

I hope this helps the others who are confused. It is a great router lift and I have enjoyed using it for the past several weeks. Don't let the cast iron router exclusion hold you back!

You can also perform above table bit adjustments and changes, a big plus from other lifts.
