I bought a 1/2 inch and a 3/4 inch. Both surfaces were without blemish, and it was perfectly flat. Very nice.I'll use one for a cross-cut sled.

This is an outstanding product for use with workshop jigs, assembly tables, or other applications that require a very low friction, yet highly durable, work surface. Rockler's price is very good and the appearance/durability of the phenolic surface exceeded my expectations. The thin plies provide for a very stable product that is easily machined, leaving very clean edges. I plan on ordering more as the need arises and having a readily available source is great. The actual thickness is about 11/16" for the nominal 3/4" size listed. The only suggestion for improvement is for Rockler to offer more colors, perhaps red and yellow. Thanks for a great product!

My rating is based on the overall integrity of the material, not necessarily the application. After soaking two pieces in water for almost a year and a half, there are still no signs of delamination. For that reason, I made a customer's sign from two boards glued together. Unfortunately, I could not get paint to adhere completely to the boards, even after sanding down quite a bit. This would have been great information to have before I started the project. Nonetheless, they are solid and incredibly tough against the weather and I will likely use them in sink cabinet bases in the future.
