Will the Multi-track support the Kreg flipstops? Thanks
Mark B
on Jul 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I use the Kreg flipstops on a multi-track installed on the fence of a crosscut jig and also on an extended Ridgid R4512 table saw ripping fence. The table saw fence has a built-in T track which I use to extend the height of the fence using Rockler 11/4X2-inch L mounting brackets to mount a 2-inch multi-track 36 inches long..

I'm considering using this material for a router table fence. Can it be cut for a dust port?
cjgiz
on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I drilled corner holes and then cut with my Bosch Jigsaw and a good metal cutting blade. Worked really well. I did clamp a straight edge as a guide and put down painters tape to keep from scratching the anodized multi-track. Clean up cut edges with a fine file or sandpaper.

What are the dimensions of the multitrack? Is an engineering drawing available?
Karl G
on Jul 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These multitrack bars come in several sizes, but all have the same groves for whatever accessories you choose. I use mine for a great router table fence because I can back it deeper than the original fence and I use Rockler stops. I love mine and have them installed on 2 router tables.

T slots are .550 wide at the bottom or T slot .350 wide at the top and .308 deep. They will take Rocklers 5/16 t bolts. Good quality extrusion. Better then 80/20 brand.

Multiple uses
I have a couple different lengths used throughout my shop. I use it as a fence on my miter gauge, I was using one on my old table saw, I use a short length as my drill press fence and another short length as a poor man's fence on my bandsaw. I even use it for a straight edge at times.

Very well built and offer a lot of flexibility by using both 3/8 and 1/4 nuts. I wondered why no mounting hes then realized that it is easier to drill the table from the bottom and use the T track to fasten down. Very flexible. It would be nice to be able to join two sections of rack to make longer than 36".

The Multi Track is a good good product, sturdy and heavy. The only thing which isnt as I thought it will be. I ordered the Multi Track brackets too which I can not use since my working table is 36" and so is the track. The way the brackets are designed, is that they need some extra room to be able to slide in the track and be tightened, where when the table is also 36" wide it doesn't have that extra room. For now, I used the predrilled holes on my table and used the T Track nuts with Turn knobs I ordered. It works very well.

This is definitely a quality track. The only thing I wish Rockler would incorporate into it's design is counter sink holes in between the tracks for mounting to wood. This way there are more options to use it right out of the package. I ended up drilling my own, not a big deal though.
