Clamp's New Quick Release Mechanism
Allows Speedy Pocket Hole Setups
MEDINA, MN (August 23, 2011) - The Pock-It Hole Clamp® — which marked vast improvement in the pocket hole joinery process — has been enhanced with a new push-button quick release feature. This new feature allows the clamp's threads to be quickly and easily slid in and out when the quick release button is pressed, decreasing set up and take down time for each pocket hole joint. Assembly of multiple joints in succession will illustrate the expeditious nature of the quick release. Final tightening of the new clamp is still accomplished with the original model's ratcheting handle, even while the clamp and frame joint are flat on the workbench.
The Quick-Release Pock-it Hole Clamp is made for work with 3/4" thick face frames and casework and allowing the fastening of one pocket hole while the other pocket hole of the same joint is clamped. An adjustable built-in pin fits 3/8" x 15° pocket holes, while the flat surface of the clamp underbody surface aligns the two joining pieces, yielding an even, snug joint every time. The lightweight aluminum clamp body is designed for durability, function and ease of use.
