Rockler Unveils New, Easy-To-Build Guitar Kits

Kits Evoke Classic Flagship Models of Top Guitar Brands

MEDINA, MN (August 14, 2012) - Rockler has just introduced a line of new Unfinished Electric Guitar Kits that are based on some of the most popular six-string models of all time. The kits are designed to make it easy to build an iconic, stylish guitar with a handful of household tools, glue and finishing supplies. The builder chooses and applies custom colors and finishes to the bare wood components.

"Our new Unfinished Electric Guitar Kits make it possible to build your dream guitar," said Steve Krohmer, Vice President of Product Development. "You no longer have to be a master craftsman and spend dozens of hours to build the guitar you truly want, yet you can still choose the color and finish to match the look of guitars you've admired for years in magazines and at concerts."

Each Guitar Kit includes the body, neck, fingerboard with pre-set frets, pickups, tuning mechanisms, bridge, pick guard and hardware to build a right-handed guitar, as well as detailed assembly instructions to guide the builder from start to finish on how to put all the pieces together to achieve the optimal result. The body and neck are made of top quality woods to achieve the best sound possible.

The Unfinished Electric Guitar Kits are listed here with stock numbers and retail prices. They are available at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware stores nationwide, Rockler independent resellers, Rockler.com, or in the Rockler catalog.
