I am using this to make a small side table ironing board. It is by my side while quilting. This mat keeps the ironing pad from sliding around the little table. It is fantastic!

I have used a Router Mat for years mostly for sanding and some routing. The latest purchase was as a non-slip base for a large cutting board I made for my daughter. I'm sure she will find it very useful.

Put this on my Christmas list...
Put this on my Christmas list based on recommendation from a friend. First use was not with wood. I had to replace the sand paper on my 10" disk sander which required scraping off the old glue. I disk plate was sliding around the bench until I remembered the mat. Never moved a bit on the mat! What a great product to have in the work shop.

The wooden handles on our toy...
The wooden handles on our toy pop guns are sized for little hands, and before purchasing the non slip mat, were really hard to hold for sanding and rounding over the edges with a router. The mat holds the handles in place and speeds up my assembly. The mat is generously sized, and for most of my small parts, I was thinking of cutting it in half, for other operations around the shop. Thank you for a great product at a great price.

Use for sanding
I place it on my sanding table to sand projects. I like the holes that are in the pad as my sanding table can pull the dust through and into the filters. With solid pads the dust just blows all over the shop. It held work good until it dusted up after about an hour of sanding then it started moving around. The product information sheet says to wash off with water when finished using. So I will try that next time to see if it will help with the movement. I will purchase another one as this is the best pad I've used so far.
