Amazing Improvement! I have a Jet DC-1200FS which I purchased from Rockler a number of years ago. I've never been very happy with its air flow volume or amount of suction. It just didn't draw enough air to properly collect dust and chips from even one machine, nor, did a do a very good job of vacumning the floor. I just replaced the original bag with this Shaker bag and it turned my DC-1200FS into the dust collecter I've always wanted. The airflow and suction are dramatically higher even with two 4" hoses at once. Today I had it hooked to both my planer/jointer and my table saw without gates to shut either off and it was doing a far superior job to what it has ever done before! And, I believe it is filtering finer dust than the old bag did as well. What a fantastic upgrade. I only wish I'd done this years ago!

I installed this on my Jet DC-650 and it was a revelation. The air flow is definitely improved and the air is noticeably cleaner.

I bought this bag for my no name dust collector. As others have noted, it is taller than the original bag. When the bag is inflated, it stands up fine. When I power down, I just drape the top of the bag over itself. The fact that the bag is bigger lets me use a plastic trash bag on the bottom. I have a 30 gal. cyclone type pre- filter for big chips. The whole rig runs the finer filtration afforded by the new felt bag. The whole thing works great - I have not seen a single puff of that fine dust since I got this bag installed, and the airflow seems as good or possibly better to me.

I bought this bag for my Delta 50-840 dust collector. As others have noted, it is taller than the original bag. When the bag is inflated, it stands up fine. When I power down, I just drape the top of the bag over the original bag support arm. The fact that the bag is bigger lets me line the bottom bag (original 30 micron) with a plastic trash bag, closing the whole rig down to the finer filtration afforded by the new felt bag. The whole thing works great - I have not seen a single puff of that fine dust since I got this bag installed, and the airflow seems as good or possibly better to me.

The bag works great, but is longer than my original. My Delta collector has a two piece support arm. I extended it by cutting down an old fiberglass tent pole and fitting it between the original sections. The tent pole has a joint ferrule on one end, just like the original support arm. Works great. You just need to find an old tent pole of the same diameter as your support arm.

Fit better on my Grizzly 8027 than the original 30 micron bags. The airflow is so efficient that only the top felt bag is needed for air flow, with the original bottom bag used only for collection after being lined with a plastic bag. Price for a similar felt bag elsewhere was almost $100.

I purchased 2 of the felt bags for my Jet DC-650 to replace the existing 30 micron canvas bags. The new bags are longer than the old bags (42" vs 24"), so the lower bag had to be shortened--but not problem with a seamstress spouse. I have plenty of room overhead for the upper bag. In concert with my garbage can pre-collector, these work nicely in capturing the fine dust that the old bags let escape. Nice healthy change.

I replaced the factory upper bag on my Jet DC-650 with this felt bag from Rockler. It fit perfectly and filters significantly more air that the original one. Before the new bag, my DC was nearly useless and the factory bag would blow up tight like a balloon. After installing the felt bag, my DC is effective and there is very little pressure inside the bag. The bag stands up by itself after the power is turned off, so there is no need to add an external support. It is the best dollars I have spent in a long time.

Right on. The bag filters well; the price is right; but the thing is way too tall for the manufacturer's support arm.

You should include a longer arm to hold this tall bag. The arm that holds up the regular bag is way way too short.
Editor's note: When installing this style of bag the manufacturer's support arm need to be removed from the dust collector. Most folks use a hook, or hook and cord, from the ceiling to secure the taller bag.

WOW... bought second hand Powermatic model 73 (1.5 hp 110/220V). Only had top bag. Did some research and found this bag. Wow again, in fits snug, is taller than original but it stands on it's own so no need so far to extend the "hanging rod". the suction GREATLY improved, so does the filtration. as the model 73 is 14 inch in diameter it works great. cannot speak for how long it will be fine but first impression is that it's made well enough to give me years of "dustfree" sawing.

Yes this bag is MUCH taller than the stock unit, making it a full 6' tall. That's where it gets its extra CFM. But the felt is also pretty stiff, so I find that if I run the DC, it self-inflates, and then stays upright after I shut the unit off. No need for a support arm. Maybe once I use it more and more dust clings to the bag, I may need to support it, but for now, I just turn it on and go.
