I now own 16 of these clamps & I absolutely love them. I'm using them in place of the one-handed-quick-clamps. I may use a quick clamp for the first clamp when only one hand is free to operate a clamp. However, the second and all subsequent clamps are the Uni-Klamps. I like that I can use them as a support for the clamped material. Eventually I remove the first, quick clamp, replacing it with a Uni-Klamp.

I have had about a dozen of the 24 and 12" for over 6 years and a few of their bigger brother a few years longer and for what I use them for they are great. The smaller ones are for light duty of course and the big brother is for something bigger. I too do not like the small handles. Well I have a quick fix for it for anyone interested. I took the handle to town with me and went to hardware stores and auto parts dealer and bought some clear and other types of hose, maybe like heater hose and got it just big enough to slip on kind of tightly. If you have trouble sliding it on, spray it down with WD-40 or the like. These work very well for me.Larry

These clamps work great for their designed, and clearly marked, purpose - light-duty clamping. The poor reviews remind me of poor reviews for the Hummer because of the poor gas mileage.

I have about 20 full sized K-body clamps of various links and they are outstanding clamps. Sometimes the larger clamps are overkill for a smaller project...and this is where the Uniklamps fit in perfectly...when i don't need that strong clamping force ... but need the accuracy and quality of a bessey parallel clamp. I have 2 uniclamps for a while now and just bought 2 more for their convenience. Well worth the money and used often.

I wish I had read the prior reviews before buying these. They are much lighter duty than I expected. Practically useless for my projects.

Only good for very light clamping. If I apply to much pressure it feels like it's going to strip out.

As Bessey notes, these are light duty clamps. They fill a specific niche in my clamp arsenal and when used properly they perform well.
They are not as versatile as the full body K's in terms of clamping pressure but these little guys hold square just like big brother.
If one is just starting to collect parallel clamps then get the full size. Once one discovers how clumsy the big ones are on smaller clamp-ups then you'll see where these clamps fit in.

Light duty clamps at best, maybe good for small boxes or picture frames and other projects of that nature. if you're in need of real clamping pressure get the upgraded, larger clamps.

I agree with Greg, these are great for light duty and they compliment the K-Body clamps, they do not replace them for heavy duty work. My only improvement would be a slightly larger handle.

Not bad for lite duty clamping but somewhat fragile. Made with plastic that can crack or break if dropped on cement floor. One of mine now has a crack.
