I really love this paper. Last way longer than any other brand I've tried, and barley cost any more. You can really see the wood come off, even with the finer grit levels. When I get down to finish sand grade, 150-220, I cannot see any sanding marks. Very smooth. I use it a lot taped down to my TS for flat edge sanding, and the paper peels right off the cast iron top! I also use it for my sharpening system for chisels, and planes. I can easily tune my chisels, without constantly changing paper. I am so glad I found this stuff.

This stuff really does what they claim. It lasts longer than any other brands I've tried and I've tried quite a lot in the last 35 years of wood working and machining. The "no loading" coating also lasts longer. Most stearate coatings go away before the abrasive does leaving you with paper that loads up. Not this stuff. Expensive but worth it!

I am a metalsmith and have been using Norton 3X since I discovered it a bunch of years ago. This product absolutely does what it says and is well worth it! I wish it came in finer grits :
I got a great deal from Rockler, shipping was fast and easy. Thanks!

I own a small woodworking business, and use all grits of this item. The best sandpaper I have ever used. Outlasts, outsands, and does an excellent job. When finish sanding,it is important to progress through all the grits at least from 100 grit through 220 or 320 to have a scratch free surface for staining and/or some form of varnish or shellac.

I am a piano refinisher and have been sanding for over 25 years. I discovered the Norton 3X Sandpaper about three years ago and wish I had discovered it 20 years ago. But I suppose it didn't exist 20 years ago. All I have to say is "Thank You" to the Norton company for developing the BEST sandpaper I have ever used. It really lasts a long time and it doesn't gum up for a long time. There are so many more comments I could make but I will stop now. Enjoy your sanding with 3X Sandpaper

Conversion Varnish...enough said while that finish is almost as bullproof as polyester finish..I found that it can be sanded down with a little patience, a good orbital sander 5 inch is good enough, and only with 3x paper this is THE only sandpaper that WONT clog up.. I tried the cheap 100 sheet on the roll 100 grit and the crap loaded up after a few turns of the sander pad.
