Router Safety Tips:
It's easy to prevent mishaps if you take a few simple precautions.
1) Rockler recommends using 1/2'' shank router bits whenever possible. 1/2'' shanks provide better stability with less vibration to produce a smoother cut and longer cutter life. 2) Make multiple light passes rather than one heavy cut. 3) Install your router bit so that 90% of the shank is inside the collet. Here's a rule of thumb: fully insert the bit, then pull it back 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch. 4) Use a router table whenever possible. 5) When using large diameter bits, reduce the RPM of your router. Then test your set-up on scrap lumber. 6) Always follow your router manufacturer's recommendations.

I liked the first case so well I bought a second one. But, like several others buyers, I will need to add a handle.

Very nicely constructed case. A handle would be nice. I would also space out the 1/2" holes because many of my larger bits touch each other which could damage the cutting edge.

Great quality product. My only change was to add a carry handle for easier transporting.

I needed to have away to keep my router bits, I had some here and others stored elsewhere. Now with the large router bit case I bought from Rockler all my bits are stored in one box and the box itself is well made and nice looking.

Nice looking case with a very dense foam that holds the bits. They won't be rocking around and nicking other bits. The case is well made. However, I will agree that a carrying handle would be nice. I will add one myself.
"I live in NJ, and wish there was a physical store near where I live. My experience with rockler.com is second to none. Not only are your products first rate, but customer service/product support is exceptional. I've called several times, and never received someone on the other end of the phone who was anything but extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. The biggest compliment I can give is that I TRUST Rockler for all my woodworking needs. The only other store I can say that about is LL Bean. My wood working friends in western NJ love Rockler. Keep on keepin' on - and get a store here in Jersey!!" -
