Great spray system! Simple setup and easy cleaning, very low overspray with proper adjustment of the volume screw. Just finished two eight feet long base cabinets with twelve drawers and eight doors. Used a sanding sealer and then a polyurethane varnish. Sprayed the sealer straight out of the can. I thinned the varnish 3:1 due to cooler wheather. The time saved has already paid for the HVLP Spray System. Very happy with the finish. Thanks Rockler.

Wow...that was easy! As an increasingly serious woodworking hobbiest, my last two cabinet projects made me realize that I needed an easier way to apply the finish. My ususal washcoat/colorcoat/topcoat method was becoming a daunting (and inconsistent) task when done by hand on large projects. So...I began researching spray finishing and decided that a compact turbine system would best suit my current lack of workspace. Based on many positive reviews, I purchased the Rockler HVLP system and used it to spray my recently completed workbench with shellac and polyurethane. The system is simple and easy to use. As a newbie to spray finishing, I was extremely pleased with the results and am anxious to use it on future projects. Clean up is a snap. If you are contemplating the spray finishing plunge, you can't go wrong with set up. I just wish I had made the decision to purchase this spray system before I completed all those cabinets!!! ;o)

I have been looking at hvlp sprayers for awhile. Never got one because I figured the were hard to use and make a mess. This thing is really that easy to use and makes hardly any mess.

This sprayer exceeded my expectations. I spent a little time adjusting the flow rate and viscosity but once I found the right mix it was great. Easy to use and very efficient. I have an airless sprayer that is just too much for smaller projects and this HVLP has done just fine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an economical sprayer.

I had just completed a nine drawer lingerie chest for a client when the sprayer arrived. It is fantastic.
I completed the staining inside and out of the case and the 9 drawers in less than an hour. Clean up was a breeze. Never thought it would this easy and the finish is great. Thanks

I bought it to stain my deck. It took me only 6 hrs. to do a real excellent job. The last time I used a paint brush and it took me 30 hours to spread the 3 gallons of stain. I am very pleased with the unit.

After see the poker table episode on the New Yankee Workshop; a group of us got together to build each of us our own poker table. We built eight tables in total. This was the first time any of us used a New Yankee Workshop plan. It was satisfying to see how the project turned out. For my table, I used soft maple with birch plywood. The table is finished with an antique cherry stain coated with satin poly-acrylic clear coat applied with the Rockler HVLP sprayer. I used General Finish brand stain and poly-acrylic both from Rockler. For the playing surface I used blue velveteen.
