Quick-Set CA glue (cyanoacrylate adhesive) has a clear, fast cure and strong bond for a variety of materials, including wood, metal, glass, rubber, ceramics and plastic.
Choose a viscocity that does not absorb completely into the surfaces to be bonded.
- CA-Thin has fast setting and curing for relatively non-porous surfaces.
- CA-Medium is a great general-purpose adhesive that penetrates porous wood to harden and seal surfaces.
- CA-Thick has good filling characteristics for larger cracks and uneven surface bonding.
- CA-Flexible has extremely good bond strength that retains a flexible condition when cured, making it ideal for pen making or wood to metal applications.
- Activator in spray pump bottle significantly accelerates the cure of all the CA formulas.
- Aerosol Activator spray application is more atomized and reduces potential foaming problems.
- Use Debonder for clean-up and skin cleaning.
- Change-A-Tip Pack includes quick-change cap adapter, four precision tips and storage cap.

Good product for gluing up wood but it has to be warm for the glue to work fast will not hold if it is cold.

This is my husband's third order (thin, medium, thick and spray activator). He is very pleased with the results. His hobby is making wood clocks using cedar, black walnut, maple, oak. Thanks for making a great product at a very reasonable price.

I do trim work and punch out. I use the various glues to minimize nail holes on small pieces of trim such as outside corners of crown, the small outside piece on bullnosed corners of base, chips in finished wood, finished returns on crown and base and other mouldings etc. Also great when joining flex moulding to flex or hard moulding. As stated in another review, time is money and the fast setup is great. Only downside is stuck fingers when I do something without my glasses! Reflexes are still quick enough to pull fingers apart before really looking stupid.

If you've ever tried to mortise a hinge in stain grade or already finished wood, then you probably know how it feels when your chisel slips and you take of a slice of wood that you never intended to remove. Having done that a few times myself I finaly purchased some CA glue. One or two drops (depending on the size of the slice) a little activator and no more wasted material or costly time trying to fill, and match stain. This stuff is great.

My son Norman and I both have a mini lathe, {Jet} and we enjoy working with them. I was at his home in Mass and he was to show me how he turns Pens.
He started out by using a glue (CA adhesive)he put a little on a piece of wood pressed another to it lining it up carefully and then he sprayed an activator that cured and dried the two pices of wood so fast I could hardly believe it. I was amazed. We started turn them in less than 2 minuts and it held together pretty darn good.
When I returned home, the first thing I did next day was to go to my Rockler store to get some of that stuff along with other things I saw there.

I use this product to finish wood pens and pencils that I turn on an Excelsior mini lathe.I does a great job of filling the pores of the wood and gives a very good hard durable glossy finish to my products. The smaller containers(2 oz) which I use in my manufacturing have never gone bad on me.
Whether I go to your store or call on the phone, your sales people are extremely knowledgable and helpful. Thank you for having a great work force.

The glue is great, but the new CA activator in the 7oz can is horrible. The spray nozzle will just stop working for no reason. Recent change from the old cans was a definite downgrade in quality.

As a kitchen installer I was looking forward to making the job of attaching miter joints on crown moldings easier. I tried both the thick set and the medium set adhesive with and without the activator. Neither worked on miter joints with hard wood crown moldings. Works well with non-porous materials like melamine.
