Here is an example of how strong this glue is. I made a desk and while gluing up the table top /desk top I was unsure how long Iwanted it 50 or 54 in so Iglued it up 56 in and cut it to the right size at 50 in.  I have always been curious how strong it really is. With the 6 in strip that was 5 pieces that where joined toghter w/biscuits to took it slammed it on the concret floor in my basment woodshop around 45 deg, it did break apart but not at a seam it broke apart 1 in away from a seam it ripped the RED OAK apart and NOT at a joint. WOW, Titebond is and will always be the wood glue I ever use.

Strong glue... I have been using TiteBond III glue for wood for sometime and knew it was strong, but just recently I found out how strong it is. On a small project I had glued some 1/4” diameter rare earth magnets into shallow holes so that they would act as retainers to another piece of wood that had the same size magnets likewise glued into shallow holes. Some time later, months,  I discovered that one of the magnets was installed with the wrong polarity facing outward. To correct this error, I have to pry out the magnet and reverse it, and re-glue it back in. The magnet was really bonded in well. After a bit of work I was able to get it out. After getting it free, I noticed that it looked odd on the glued side. A closer look reveled that the thin nickel plating had pulled free of the back side of the magnet and was still stuck to the bottom of the hole where the magnet had been. These magnets have a shiny, polished exterior, so there was noting for the Titebond III to really “grip”, but it still managed to hold on to the plating well enough to strip it off the side of the magnet. In my opinion, that’s bonding power.

I joined three boards with biscuits and Titebond III. One was perfect and set up in about 25 minutes. The other, I squeezed way too much glue and the joint failed. I could even pull the biscuits out of the slot because it was still wet. I cleaned up the mess and re-glued it without using too much and it set up just fine. So, be careful not to use too much.

Bought a few quarts to glue up a workbench. Been using it with ambient temperature below 50 Deg. F. No problems with joint failer.

I thoroughly agree with the other comments praising Titebond III but I wanted to add that what drew it to me was that it will set in 45 deg F while Titebond II requires 55 Deg F. That was important for several wintertime projects in my garage.

This is the best wood glue ever. It dries quickly and created a perfect seal.

I've used Titebond I and II for years. There are scrap pieces in my basement that were glued up 30 years ago and are still tight as now. This waterproof version takes it a step further.

Someone recommended this glue to me and I am so glad I got it. Hubby and I are making a miniature doll house and this glue, along with all that I ordered from Rockler is great!

I'm using Titebond III to glue our wood floor together in the living room, dining room and kitchen. Instead of tongue and groove I'm using #20 biscuits and gluing the floor together to make a "floating" wood floor. This give me a lot of flexibility for designs embedded in the floor.

This is the entry to our house.

Good value. Have been using Titebond glues for a long time. Was going to buy the gallon size for better value, but was worried about shelf life.

I like the new glue because it is thinner and has a longer open time. I have not really tested it to see if it holds up to the weather as it claims. I also like the darker color when gluing walnut and similar woods.

It works as advertised. Wouldn't it be nice if we could say that about more products?

I have been using Titebond glues for years and needed to replenish my supply. I am currently building an exterior door out of red oak and needed more to glue the mortise and tenons. I have found that this glue does more than just resist moisture and it does allow time to assemble items in cooler temperatures. I have found also that this glue is stronger than the polyurethane glues on the market.

I have always used tite bond glue and never had any problem with it and have build furniture that is at least 20 years old and the joints are still holding up. Since they came out with the 3 that is all I use and the drying time is not that long so you can take the clamps off quicker and on to another part of your project When you build furniture for the public you need the best.

Titebond III and biscuits are the only thing holding together a recent game table and chair project I completed. The glue sets quickly yet allows enough time to get things just where you want them. I will not use anything else.

This is the best glue out there. In another review it was stated that the cherry was clamped for 24 hours and there was total joint failure. What? I use this exclusively all day long and it has NEVER failed me. The other reviewer may have gotten an expired batch or used to much glue. You only need clamp this glue an hour or less. After joining boards with the glue and smashing the joined boards on concrete the wood NEVER breaks at the glue line, NEVER. The glue is stronger then the wood itself. Best glue on the market, period!

I use this glue for Inlays that are on the floor inside and outside on decks and have not had any failures yet. I edge glue the pieces to one another, then glue the hardwood layer to a marine ply with the Titebond III with a vacuum press. Even outside I have seen no de-lamination nor had any complaints.

Titebond III is the best glue for wood glue, end of conversation.

I have used Titebond III on a lot of projects, and crafts that I have made . The first that comes to mind is, "Cutting Boards".
I had used Titebond II on all of these before. Then when Titebond III came out. I decided to try it, being that it said it was waterproof. As I said, I used, and had never had a problem with Titebond II, but for the extra hold. I tryed it, and found that, for me, I would use the Titebond III.
I did a little test myself. Using hot soapy water. I just left a few scrap peices of wood that I had laying around. I glued a few peices together. Some with Titebond II, and the others with Titebond III. After about 30 minutes, I took them out, and dried them. Not that you would do this normaly, but for me, thats when I started using the Titebond III. "Proof is in the pudding."
I still use Titebond, Titebond II. Each for different projects. But for anything that, for what ever the reason, might be in water, for a proloned time. I use Titebond III.
Happy Woodworking

I used Titebond III for the first time. I was very disappointed. I experienced total joint failure on two separate applications. Clamped cherry for 24 hours with good quality clamps. I used a liberal application of glue and sufficient clamping pressure as I have for the past 30 plus years. It was so bad that I had no problem pulling the No. 20 biscuits out of the slots after the 24 hours clamping time.
