An unusual combination of oils and urethanes, Seal-A-Cell Clear is the ideal solution for achieving a natural look on beautiful woods that are not stained.
- Available in Pint, Quarts and Gallons.
The oils penetrate deep within the wood to highlight the warm natural look, while the urethane ensures a deep hardness.
- Follow with multiple coats of Arm-R-Seal Urethane topcoat.
- Seal-A-Cell can be wiped on or applied with a foam brush.

I really love this product. Just finished a pair of matching Cherry wardrobes. For me, Sealacell with an Arm-r-Seal final coat produces a much nicer finish that brushed on top coats, and virtually no runs. And I find the wipe-on process faster than brushing.

I just finished building custom cabinets and counter tops for our kitchen, the General Finish Seal-A-Cell, and Arm-R-Seal, were the finish products we used. The results were fantastic! I would recommend both of these finihes if you want to highlight the natural beauty of the wood and have a durable finish.

Very glad to see the product was still available. My dad used this about 40 years ago to refinish old tables & chairs.
My son wanted to build a gun from a kit, so I told him I had something that might help the project. The gun stock came out great! Now I will have to find some more wood to finish.

I have used General Finishes' Seal-A-Cell clear (and their top coat polyurathane Arm-R-Seal)for several projects with maple cabinets. I avoid using stains with maple because of blotching problems, but the Seal-A-Cell clear nevertheless brings out the grain and personality of this difficult-to-handle hardwood.
It's easy to apply and absolutely problem free if you follow the simple directions.

When used on softwoods and soft-hardwood, stops blotching and uneven color. I sometimes mix in stains and apply as a pre-coat, works great.

I have used General Finishes products for over 40 years from when they were in a little shop in West Allis, Wisconsin. In 1964 I made a grandmother clock and finished it with Seal-A-Cell and what is now their polyurethane topcoat. With occasional wiping with lemon oil it still looks like the day it was applied.
