I found it was adaptable to my project, where I'm slightly recessing the drawer face into the front of an entertainment stand. I had to notch out the back bottom of the drawer for the slide and use independent supports instead than utilizing the face frame, but this allowed for a great method of hiding this bit of hardware. The slide made it easy to have only the wood in the project be visible when in use.

I like these slides, they are easy to line up and install I think they will be used in future cabinet projects. I used them in a 3 drawer cabinet that I built for a nephew.

Installed them on antique sideboard drawers and they worked good, at least allowed the drawers to slide better. Did not need anything with all the bells and whistles, just functional. Worked fine.

Great problem solver for retrofitting old 20" deep kitchen under-counter drawers. I have (at least) 50 year old face frames with wooden center rail sliders. The sliders & drawer edges were very worn, and I had less than 1/4" to work with on the drawer bottom, and less than 1/2" for side rails. Plus, the old center rails were nailed and glued in, making removal difficult.

I wound up using 2 slides per drawer so I didn't have to take out the old center slides, and I didn't have to use the corner glides (and shim them because of wear). These slides aren't as stiff as side slides (as others have pointed out), but they're inexpensive enough that 2 per drawer isn't that bad.

With 2 slides, even heavy loaded drawers (silverware, and a 26" wide utensil drawer) seemed solid enough. I even used 4 more slides to make slide out platforms for both my 2 pots & pans shelves, which are also 26" wide and pretty heavily loaded. True, telescoping full length pull out slides are nicer, as these are only 3/4, but for the price, I'm happy and my wife is thrilled. I did have to slightly notch my frame rails to lower the slides slightly (used a vibratory tool, cut was flush at back).

The drawer part of the slide screws into the drawer back edge, which is pretty thin. My drawers were kind of beat up, so I added 3/4x3/4 cleats to beef them up and then could screw to that. I'll be buying another batch to finish all my drawers and may make some more shelve slides, too.

Purchased slides for a custom entertainment center I am building. Slides were easy to install on slidig shelves and seem to hold a good amount of weight.

Easy to install in less than 30 minutes total. Now even though the drawer contains about thirty pounds of silverware opens without much effort. Plus the drawer no longer drops down in the front as if the drawer was going to fall compeltely out of the cabinet.

I thought these would be more study, the drawer become very bouncy when you get near the end of the slide. I tried pop-riveting at support to the bottom of the slide but it made no difference. Next I plan to try an angle brace at the back of the drawer down to the slide to see if it minimizes the bounce. I recommend buying one and trying it out before doing all of you drawers this way. The teflon slide are also very low strength and impossible to install without pre-drilling a hole for the nail otherwise the nail breaks out or pushed through the weak plastic.

Low profile of these slides were the only replacement slides that would fit my old manufactured kitchen cabinets. I used two slides on each draw to make the replacement equal to the original. You have to take care to get everything lined up square and level. The end result makes for a very smooth moving draw with no side play and great load capacity.

This old dresser belonged to my grandmother. Now the kids have it for their new baby. So the new baby will have a dresser that's from her great, great grandmother. I had put off the puchase of these slides thinking that it would be a lot of trouble setting them up. The installation involved a little extra work to create the needed bracing but, the adjustment to make the drawers align, and stay true was a lot easier than I thought. Now the drawers move in in out so much easier without having the worry of pulling them all the way out by mistake.

I used two of these slides under a 34-inch long by 12-inch deep shelf that supports my large, flat-screen television, which was sitting on a fixed shelf inside a television armoire. The slides allow a new shelf to be pulled out and the television now sits even with the front edge of the two doors on the armoire. They worked well, but I had to do some precise measurements to make it work properly. I could probably use one more in the middle, but not necessary. Thanks to my brother for recommending this web-site!

These were a vast improvement over roller glides I had installed. Using in a 60's kitchen, so some modifications were necessary. The provided screws proved to be too short in most cases, especially in the fronts, and the glides would disengage when removing the drawer. The longer screws made them more secure.

I used two of these that supports a TV tray used to support my new LCD HDTV. Clearance was an issue so I opted for a bottom mount in lieu of side mount rails. There is some flexing but it is suitable so long as the TV is not to large and heavy. If I had more clearance I would have preferred using side mount rails.

I installed 14 of these slides on 40 year old dressers. Small mods. were required on each of the drawers to accomodate the wider slides, but the installation went well.
The original slides were worn and the bearings were falling out.

Product assumes wood and construction is flat and square. I used in home cabinets installed by builder and had to shim vertical, horizontal and back structures to get product to work. Could not figure out how to remove drawer without removing at least 2 screws after installation.

I used these center mount slides to replace inferior drawer glides on a chest-of-drawers we purchased from one of our local furiture stores (the plastic guides had broken after a week of use). The unit was worth the time to change over to the "Accuride center mount slides" instead of the cheap factory installed glides. the drawers can now support the clothes in them instead of falling out when opening.

Easy installation and solid product, BUT I had issues with the sizing. I have 18" drawers in 24" cabinets. Slide wasn't long enough. Instructions said extension brackets were available directly from another company. I ordered 1 and that too didn't do the trick. I had to build a custom bracket to solve the issue.

Suspect a longer slide would have done the trick. But at a minimum, Rockler should stock the extension brackets too.

Refaced kitchen cabinets and reused the drawers in some simple cabinets that I built for the workshop. Used the center supports to make the cabinet work simple and was very please with the simplicity and operation of the supports. I now have more than adequate space in my chest of drawers to keep things organized.

I used this slide as a replacement for the OEM model that had failed on a Khoury dresser. My one criticism is that the "L" bracket has no holes in the horizontal side for screwing down into the dresser support - the bracket is instead designed to screw into the back of the dresser. With a fiber board back on the dresser, this was not practical for me. I instead drilled a hole in the bracket to screw down. Other than that, this seems to be a solid unit and met expectations.

I used this product to replace a 30-yr old sliding mechanism that used plastic rollers and didn't slide very well. This ball-bearing slide is very smooth, and it was pretty easy to adjust, even for a weekend warrior handyman like me!
If I had followed the directions a little more closely, I could have saved myself some time redoing the shim at the front of the cabinet. In the end, everything worked out great, though.

I used these drawer slides to renovate an old chest of drawers used in my son's room. The old drawers had wooden rails (bottom center of drawers) that were worn causing the drawers to ride against the sides of the chest when pulled out or pushed in. This made the drawer operation difficult when the drawer was empty and almost impossible when the drawer was full. The new drawer slides really extended the life of this furniture - it was to be discarded. The slides are very heavy duty and handle a fully loaded drawer nicely. I added some drawer glides on the inner edges of the chest along the draw paths to really upgrade the drawer operation. Thanks Rockler for having great products.

I liked these slides because they maximize drawer space. Very easy to install. However, the glide points on the sides of the drawers are critical. If your drawer [side] is rough on the bottom, the drawer will feel rough when it slides. You will need to finish the bottom of the drawer [side], or add some teflon glide tape.

I ordered these for kitchen replacements and they were so flimsy that I had to take them out before my customer got home. They are strictly for light duty, such as a vanity cabinet where they will have to carry toothpaste and maybe one toothbrush. They are also a little noisy.

I used this product on an old dresser and the slides worked great. The drawers can now be opened by my 2 and 4 year old children. I would, however, like to note that there needs to be 1/4 inch, no more or less, between the bottom of the drawer and the bottom of the drawer sides. Mine happened to be 3/8 and, as the instructions noted, I needed to use a shim to make the gap 1/4 inch.

I purchased this product for three 24" deep draw's in a kitchen cabinet. The advertisement indicated it would hold 35 pounds which I felt would be sufficient. However, after I installed them, there was too much wobble in the draw when it was fully extended (unloaded). To correct this I had to limit the distance the draw came out. I should not have had to do this. Weak.

Like others, I used these for retrofit in an old (and cheap) chest. The slide was tedious to install in furniture designed for a different mechanism, but the result is excellent, very solid ballbearing action. Now the fairly wide drawer can be opened even if pulled far off-center (my son is unimpressed but I thought it was cool). Note the mfr promises only 35# loading and that disconnect is friction, not a positive latch, so a very firm pull will remove the drawer completely -- perhaps a factor if you have children. Note also the fractions-of-an-inch gaps between the "fits ... length" ranges; naturally my job fell into one of these.

I ordered these to replace 35 yr old slides in my kitchen and was disappointed. They work, but not as well as other slides I've purchased for other projects. After installing one and using it for a week for the silverware drawer, I've decided not to replace the remaining slides. I'm sending the remaining (unused) slides back. They're just not good enough for everyday kitchen use. I should have purchased a better slide

When constructing your drawer if you plan to use these you must make sure that under the groove you make for the drawer panel you must have 3/8" - 1/2" groove to ride close to the face, the concept of the slides is not that of stability but rather a cheap smooth action. My drawer moved side to side and twists all over the place before I rigged a guide for the drawer to rest on while sliding, very flimsy, but easy to install.

The slides were quite easy to install but I did run into an annoying problem with the L-bracket in the back. There were no holes to drill into the support to keep the slide from rocking vertically. I had to purchase a metal drill bit (added expense) to make a hole to secure the bracket down. I also had to use shims to raise the slide 1/2" for the drawers to close properly. They are easy to use once installed.
