I purchased EZ-mark cords, because I was tired of patching holes and pulling nails back out of projects. They work great. It is also nice when I have my son helping me too. So i don't have to go back and fix things after him. I try to show him a quality product when done. I also bought him a set so he don't misplace mine and he can experiment with them. He likes his too.

These things are fantastic right up to the moment you place your nail gun a little too close to it and the nail snaps the line! They work great just be sure to keep your nail gun back from it just a bit!

Simple, but effective. I am glad I ordered a set! Everyone should have a set in their toolbox. No more guess work were to drive a screw or nail.

Great for smaller projects to align marking inside walls of projects like doll house to nail the wall to the back of the house. Don't have to get out the messy chalk line marker.

The day after these arrived I was helping a friend put together a redwood playset/fort for his kids. The guides were invaluable in helping us put the roof sections together. The only problem I can see with the product is that they are so ingenius and simple, that making a set for yourself from scratch will be so easy it will cut into the number you will sell! (Wish I could give them more than a 5 rating.)

Quick & simple! If a cord breaks, the wife gives me elastic/stretch cord from her sewing kit. [available at fabric stores, maybe hobby and craft stores also?]

Such a simple concept--and excellent results. I would have given it a 5 except that I'd have preferred to have more bands in the most common sizes I need, since I'm sure I'll break one of these at some point. Still, a very useful product at a great price.

Saves me a lot of time not having to sand away pencil marks, and not having to repair stray brads. Worth every penny.

I love these cords. I have often wished for such an item, but never though of such a simple solution. I would have loved to have had these 20 years ago.

A real lifesaver. No more errant nails from the nail gun and no pencil lines to erase. Where have these been all my life. Worth twice the price.

The EZ mark lines are adequate for the job that they are supposed to do. One problem that I had was that if I stretched the lines too much, then the elastic cord came out of the hook. After prying the hooks jaws apart, and then closing them around the end that I knotted, problem was solved. Alot of work for a $5 object, but it beats sanding out/erasing the pencil lines.

I purchased this set along with some other aids to nailing. The yellow tabs aren't as well made or connected as well as the other two. I called customer service and was promptly shipped another. Upon receipt the first stretch produced the same result - it came undone. The clasp came off the band. I didn't complain the second time as the total investment wasn't worth the annoyance. That is probably the wrong attitude on my part but I suppose I am programed to accept failure along with inexpensive price. I know Rockler would have replaced it again because they ALWAYS stand behind their products.

A big disappointment! 10”, 20” and 30” do not describe the minimum attached length but rather the exposed length of the elastic band. The hooks are 1¼“ long each so that the minimum attached length is 2½“ longer than the stated size. I bought these to use on a case I am building that is 12” deep. I thought the 10” length would work nicely. What a surprise when one end just flopped over the side. I’ll try shortening one of the cords. If that does not work it’s back the square, ruler and pencil line. Not a bad product but.

This is one of those "why didn't I think of that?" tools. Simple, but very effective. I build cabinets as well as scenery for theaters, and this set of cords beats the daylights out of getting someone to help snap a chalk line so I can put a row of staples down a plywood face and into the wood suport underneath and avoid having to pull out all those staples that missed. I had the same problem with one of the cords pulling out of the hook, but a quick squeeze with pliers put an end to that.
